Getting noticed
The best portfolios have the following characteristics, they should:-
- show evidence of inspired work with children
- give a clear message about your style and approach to education
- not be too long
- be well organised and labelled
- include your current contact details
- have pages clearly linked internally to make navigation easy
- link information to other useful sources (such as your departments page in your current schools website)
- have photos with a clear short description
- have videos which are clear with good sound quality and provide an important illustration of your work (are not just put in for entertainment)
- have audio clips that are clear and illustrate an important point
- show you are familiar with a high quality of educational practice
